Peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Fenelon Court Long Term Care. Frances Duffort (nee Taylor) of Fenelon Falls and formerly of Toronto, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of James Llewellyn Duffort (1990). Loving mother of Janice and her husband Jim McLaughlin of Grafton, Caryn and her husband Gene Samson of Pickering and Steven Duffort and his wife Judi of Fenelon Falls. Dear nanny of Jason Smith and his wife Eva Klein of Toronto, Holly Samson also of Toronto, Marni Samson of Pickering, Lynsie McLaughlin and her partner Don MacKinlay of Aurora. Most special great-nanny of Amelia 'Frances' and James. Frances will be missed by her brother, Chuck Taylor and his wife Jean of Etobicoke and is pre-deceased by her sister, Marion Rowland. The family of Frances Duffort will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes' St. W., Fenelon Falls, on Saturday, October 5th for a gathering from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m in the chapel. Private family interment will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery in Scarborough on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. . In lieu of flowers donations to The Salvation Army or The Alzheimer's Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
