Obituary for Ivy Kitchen (Wooldridge)

Ivy Kitchen passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Case Manor Nursing Home in Bobcaygeon. Ivy was born in Odiham, England, in 1922 to Arthur and Ethel Wooldridge. In 1945, Ivy married a Canadian soldier named, Frank Kitchen and immigrated to Canada as a War Bride. Frank was her beloved husband for 49 years of marriage and passed in 1995. Loving mother of Paul Kitchen and his wife Chris, Diane and her husband Don Barkey and Don Kitchen and his wife Benita. Dear grandmother of Noah Kitchen, Emma Kitchen (Zack), Leanna Lefebvre (Chuck), Abby Kitchen (Peter), Melissa Muir (David), Valerie Marshall (Paul), Daniel Kitchen (Mandi), Mandy McDonald (Broc) and great grandmother of 22 great-grandchildren; Emily, William, Charlotte, Christopher, Gracie, Naomi, Oscar, Isabelle, Elodie, Myles, Simon, Georgia, Avery, Evan, Elliot, Rose, Vivian, Tanner, Maci, Brynn, Lyla and Jovie. Ivy will be missed by her only surviving sister, Thelma Reynolds of Overton, England and is predeceased by 1 brother and 6 other sisters. The family of Ivy Kitchen will receive friends at Case Manor Nursing Home, 28 Boyd Street, Bobcaygeon, on Friday, December 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with words of remembrance shared at 2:30 p.m. If desired memorial donations to the Case Manor Nursing Home 'Recreation Department' or Hospice Kawartha Lakes.
