Marg Allen (nee Holliday) passed away peacefully, Monday January 7, 2019 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, in Lindsay. She was in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence M. Allen (1989), loving mother to Nancy and her husband John Drynan of Oshawa, Chris and her husband Johnny Wenzel of San Diego, and Kathy (Lorne) Arscott of Fenelon Falls. Special grandma to Tom Drynan and his wife Melina of St. Catharines, Christopher and his wife Erica of Brooklin, and Julian Allen and Kim Delen Briones of San Diego. Great-grandma to Isadora Drynan. Marg is sadly missed by her brother, Michael Holliday and his wife Thelma of Fenelon Falls. She is pre-deceased by her brother Bill Holliday. A special and heartfelt thank-you is extended to Arlene Lytle and Caroline Fenelius-Carpenter for their caring support and kindness to Marg. The family of Marg Allen will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princess St. W. Fenelon Falls, on Friday, January 11, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held the following day, Saturday, January 12th in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. If desired memorial donations can be made to the Kawartha Lakes Humane Society or the Ross Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, in honour of Marg.
