My most treasured memories of Uncle Doug was his ability to take bits and pieces of old machinery and turn them into a working wonder....pullies, gears, belts, old gas motors coming together to my young eyes amazement. I wasn't always sure of their purpose but was always fascinated by the symphony of noise and movement. The world is now missing a mechanical genius. Our deepest sympathies to your entire family.
