Hello Judy and Family
Heartfelt Sympathies are extended to you and your family in the passing of Earl.
We just became aware of your Dad’s passing. Belated condolences to each of you!
Earl was a great, happy, friendly man. Certainly a man dedicated to his family and community! He always went out of his way to speak to us as we attended events at Burnt River. Greg, Eric and I have fond memories of you, Gary and your parents during the ‘good old days’ in Burnt River. Your Mom was my first hair stylist. Your Dad was very supportive of Greg and many others, as teenagers, in finding summer positions for them with Beamish Construction. I have very vivid memories of your Grandma walking down the street to our Burnt River United Church to play the organ for Sunday Services. Memories!
We “Thank Earl for his Service to our Country.”
Please pass along our sympathies to Marian Ann and Al and the Watson Family members.
Thinking of you. Gloria (Sheehey) Hutchison

Just read Uncle Earl's obituary. I was shocked because I hadn't heard. He was one of my favorite people. I never seen him where he wasn't smiling or laughing. It was contagious. You couldn't be having a bad day when he was around. I will deeply miss him.

So sorry to learn of Earl's passing . He was the best man at my parent's ( Alex and Peggy Rettie ) wedding Dec 25,1944.That was just before Dad was transferred into the army. My mother Peggy who is living at Belvedere LTC home in Parry Sound said she was sad to hear of Earl's death and that he was always a lot of fun. She too is in her 98th year . As a child and young adult I remember Earl and Marion coming to visit Mom and Dad at their cottage on Four Mile Lake near Burnt River and all the laughing that took place as they visited . Good memories.. good times .
Sincerely Patricia Hume (Rettie) and Peggy Rettie
